This report outlines the activities and results of the second year of the Krause Initiative in Ethics and Leadership at The Citadel.

In the second school year of existence, the Krause Initiative in Ethics and Leadership continues to gain "momentum and traction" to achieve The Citadel's strategic priorities.  Since inception in September 2003, the Krause Initiative has evolved into an integrated process of programs, policy support, and new philosophies to reframe the college's approach to the leader development and ethical growth.  The previously approved Mission statement, Operational Concept, and Outcome Goals for the Initiative guided this effort.  These same guidleines remain relevant and provide the context to help evaluate the Initiative's success in the 2004-2005 school year. The following discussion highlights the Initiative's effect within these guidelines in three interrelated areas: organizational impact, instructional support, and conceptual redesign.
